A Cheese Tasting Masterclass
Charlie Turnbull
Cheese lecturer, Director of the Academy of Cheese, international cheese judge and owner of Turnbulls Cheesemongers and Bistro in Shaftesbury, Dorset will fill us in on how cheese tasting differs from wine and why cheese and wine are such a good match!
Expect samplings of both cheese and wine.

English Sparkling Wine
Panel of English Sparkling producers
We’ll hear straight from the horses’ mouths why English Sparkling is proving to be such a hit on the wine awards circuit and what the future holds for this effervescent product.

The Barton Legacy
Damien Barton-Sartorius
A truly unique opportunity to hear from eighth generation wine maker Damien Barton an overview of the Barton legacy in Bordeaux and gain an understanding classification system, how it was decided and what it means today with terms like ‘super second’ being introduced to describe some wineries. Not only will he talk about the legendary Leoville and Langoa Barton wines but we will also unveil his new brand of wines Initio at the festival. Not to be missed!

10 Castle Street Wine label
Iain Alexander, Ambassadeur Art
Feeling inspired after all that wine? Then have a go at designing next year's 10 Castle Street wine label with contemporary portrait artist Iain Alexander and his fellow artist Dairo Vargas.
These art workshops are free and begin from 2pm

Biodynamic, Natural & Organic Wines
Jane Anson
Biodynamic, organic and natural wines have seen an incredible surge in popularity over recent years, and this boom comes as we all endeavour to find responsibly made products. Award winning wine expert and author Jane Anson will give us an overview of the world’s best and recommend foods to match these unique and individual wines.

Wine of Origin: Franschhoek Valley S.A
Clayton Reabow, Moresons
We've all heard of Stellenbosch but what do we know of Franschhoek? As as well as launching two new wines at the Dorset Wine Festival wine maker Clayton Reabow of Moreson’s is here to fill us in. His talk will focus on the wine making of Franschhoek, how it has changed over the years and and what makes it an exceptional and exciting region.

What are Natural, Biodynamic Organic wines? What is the difference? Can they age? Who is making the best ? All these questions and more will be answered by Museum Wines’ own expert Daniel Grigg and Sommelier Ross Forbes from 10 Castle Street.
